The delightful village of Callao Salvaje, on the southwest coast of Tenerife, is ideal for the mature traveler who appreciates quiet, pleasant surroundings, a wide range of accommodations and a large variety of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants.  Supermarket, medical and pharmacy services are also available in Callao Salvaje.  The bustling tourist areas of Fañabé, Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos are just a short taxi or bus ride away.  Many visitors to Callao Salvaje are British, but vacationers from throughout Europe have discovered this charming enclave as well.
